About the job:

We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic bore runner/water maintenance person to join the team, to be based our Jubilee Station, located near Fitzroy Crossing in the Kimberley. You will be responsible for maintaining all livestock watering points throughout the station, maintaining equipment, pumps, stock waters, fences and reporting any livestock issues to management. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and maintaining livestock waters

  • Maintaining and servicing pumps 

  • Maintaining fences

  • Observing stock, reporting any issues to management


About you:

Due to the expansive landscape, you will enjoy working autonomously with minimal need for supervision but you must be a good communicator who is proactive in ensuring the Station Manager is kept up to date on your progress and any issues on the station.

Essential Criteria:

  • Manual driver’s license

  • Initiative and problem-solving skills

  • Motivated and hard-working, willing to contribute to the team culture

  • Pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessments

  • Must have the right to live and work in Australia

  • Always demonstrate commitment to safe working practises and animal welfare 

Desired Criteria:

  • Solar, electric submersible and mono bore experience well regarded

  • Experience with cattle animal husbandry

  • HR, HC or MC license

  • Machinery experience (grader, loader, telehandler)

  • Previous experience in a similar role
