Ideally the successful candidate will have/be:

A minimum of 5 years' experience working on station, with at least two years at a leadership level
Experience working on a backgrounding property (highly regarded, though not mandatory)
Experience in herd, pasture and water management
Some experience facilitating CAPEX projects and executing property development plans
Strong people leadership skills, an effective communication style with a strong focus on safety and employee wellbeing
The ability to build and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders internal and external, including active participation within the local community
Intermediate computer skills, including but not limited to Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
A MR or HR Licence (or willingness to get one)
Current Category AB Weapons License (or ability to get one)
Accurate record keeping and sound administration skills
Good organisational skills and the ability to change priorities to meet deadlines
