We are a family-owned farming business, operating across two properties within Western Australia. Based out of Esperance WA, we operate a mixed farm near Munglinup and sheep station at Cocklebiddy. With a progressive mindset, our company is striving to continue the development and modernisation of these properties and believes in empowering employees to be the leaders of this.

The Station

Arubiddy Station is situated in Cocklebiddy, WA, only 30km off the Eyre Highway.  The station covers 300,000 hectares and is located on the unique Nullarbor Plain, with the property managing a self-replacing stock of approximately 17,000 Merino sheep for fine wool production.

The Property is fully enclosed with dog fencing on all boundaries, with the station split into two separate dog proof cells, and further separated into 46 paddocks and numerous laneways. With 16 active bore locations placed across the station, the business has worked to create sustainable grazing practises by implementing multiple stock watering locations in most paddocks. Through a combination of some of the best quality bore water on the Nullarbor and a high-quality desalination plant, the water system is the heartbeat of the station.

We have built six remote holding and drafting yards throughout the property to allow easy mobile crutching, mulesing, loading/unloading and mustering operations, each with a capacity of approximately 3,000 head. The main livestock complex includes a six-stand shearing shed and 10,000 head central yards.

The homestead complex includes three residences: the main homestead, and two smaller cottages, all run on renewable power and battery storage with generator backups. Additionally, there are basic shearing quarters used for seasonal work. To ensure safe work practises and effective communication, an upgraded VHF Radio Station with private channel was established, allowing radio communication across the property. All key equipment is installed with pre-tuned VHF radios, with the base station located at the Homestead. Mobile phone network access is available throughout the southern paddocks of property, as well as within vicinity of the homestead. Wi-Fi is provided at three residences and quarters. Additionally, there is a multi runway airstrip located adjacent to the homestead.
