Burton Beef is a family owned and operated company. We are a completely vertically integrated company, as we breed, feedlot, process and sell our own beef. We also grow all our own fodder which supplies the 5,000 head feedlot and supports the mustering on our out stations.

The Burton Beef enterprise includes Kilto Station near Broome, the hub of the operation. Kilto includes a 5,000 head feedlot, backgrounding paddocks, 8 centre pivots, dry land farming and an onsite abattoir that processes around 60 head per week. Kilto is an intensive station where all the company’s trucks, choppers and staff all work out of.

Further more, the Burton’s operate two stations up the Gibb River Road, Mt Elizabeth Station and Carson River Station which are the main breeding blocks for the business. Running around 10,000 cattle in total the remote station are extremely isolated and run a large portion of feral cattle as well as the commercial herd.
