About this role: Yarrabee is a large 10,000 HA cropping property that forms part of the goFARM portfolio. Located about 25km from Narrandera towards Morundah in Southern NSW, the property is mostly dryland cropping with some irrigation. Recently reinvigorated from a pastoral property, these roles offer a chance to be part of a well-managed team to support all aspects of cropping tasks including spraying, seeding and harvest machinery operation, grain storage/handling, mechanical repairs and general maintenance.

The successful applicant will have:

  • An understanding of large scale farm and cropping operations

  • Experience in large machinery operation and maintenance, including tractor/sprayer and GPS knowledge

  • Experience in hay making

  • Experience with Irrigation (preferably with lateral irrigators)

  • Grain handling and storage

  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team

  • Willingness to learn and a positive, self-motivated attitude to work

  • A previous trade or training would be highly regarded

  • A focus on promoting aa safe and productive culture

  • Current unrestricted driver’s license and AgSafe or ChemCert accreditation or the willingness to obtain
