HEAD STOCKMAN | 2021 SEASON

Brett Cattle Company is a family owned cattle breeding business integrated with their QLD properties and export depot based near Darwin. Waterloo Station encompasses 1895 sq. km in the Victoria River District which runs up to 25,000 head. 

The Station is located on the Duncan Highway NT, 150km from the East Kimberley major tourist destination, Kununurra. Enjoy the surrounding Kimberley tourist destinations on your days off and get involved in the rodeos and campdrafts in the area throughout the year.

Brett Cattle is looking for a energetic head stockman with strong cattle industry and team leading experience.

Remuneration & Experience: ​Previous experience and expertise in the Northern Pastoral Industry will be highly regarded, remuneration is negotiable and will be based upon experience.

Start Date: Season 2021 

Job Type: Full Time​

The successful applicant will:

  • Work alongside the manager & have responsibility for livestock management and records

  • Lead and mentor staff

  • Hold effective communication skills to execute the daily work program for junior staff

  • Be self-motivated, familiar with all aspects of station maintenance, waters, machinery & have a comprehensive knowledge of cattle husbandry and experience

  • Have previous experience in a leadership role on a cattle station
