Job Description: An excellent opportunity is available for a Cattle Station Head Stockperson to join our client’s progressive cattle enterprise with large holdings across The Gulf Region of QLD.

• Located on one of their cattle breeding stations near Normanton, QLD and reporting to the Manager, you will be involved in all hands-on day to day requirements of running a cattle station.

• To be successful for this position you will present with solid cattle and station experience of 3+ years, either in a similar position or ready to step up in your livestock career.

• This position offers career development potential and progression for the suitable applicant.

• All cattle mustering is carried out with bikes, horses and helicopters and you will be involved with all cattle mustering and processing with experience handling large numbers of cattle preferred.

• All other station duties and maintenance is also required. It is essential that you have good communication and reporting skills, leadership and staff management capabilities to be able to organise and lead a mixed stock team of 10 staff.

• A current truck licence is ideal however, all staff are provided the opportunity to obtain their truck licence.

• There are possible work opportunities available on the station for a suitably experienced partner depending on skills and experience.
