We are currently seeking a Station Cook/ Gardener for Limbunya Station. The station is situated 650km south west of Katherine, just 100km from the Western Australia border. The station has 521,883 hectares and a herd of 32,210 head of cattle.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Station Manager, you will be responsible for:
Planning menus, organising and ordering supplies.
Preparing tasty and nutritious meals for staff, as well as visitors to the homestead.
Maintaining cleaning and hygiene standards equivalent to that of a commercial kitchen.
Mowing lawns and maintaining gardens on the station.
Experience cooking/catering for large groups of people.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Understanding of health and safety standards and food hygiene standards.
Ability to prepare meals in adherence with set budget.
Previous experience working on a cattle station or in a remote environment an advantage.
