Job Description:

AAM Investment Group is seeking Diesel Mechanic's to join the team's at Maryfield and Limbunya Station's in the NT.


The role's will be located at:

  • Maryfield Station: Just off the Stuart Highway with all weather, year round access, only a short drive from Daly Waters and with Katherine a few hours away to the north. Maryfield Station is located on 147,300 hectares and has 16,636 head of cattle.

  • Limbunya Station: Situated approximately 650km south west of Katherine, just 100km from the Western Australian border. The station has 521,883 hectares and a herd of 32,210 head of cattle.

Both are located next to some of the best fishing, swimming, and sight seeing spots in NT.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Station Managers, this Diesel Mechanic's role will support the daily operations and planned development projects at the station. 

  • The Mechanic will be responsible for servicing and maintaining plant and equipment, carrying out repairs and keeping accurate service records.

Job Requirements:

  • Must hold a Diesel Mechanic trade certificate or similar.

  • Must hold a current manual Drivers License.

  • Auto electrical and / or automotive air conditioner experience desirable.

  • Steel fabrication & welding experience desirable.

  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

  • Experience working in a remote environment highly regarded.
