Job Description:

  • Livestock Water Maintenance Staff (Bore Runner's) are an integral part of Limbunya Station.

  • Situated approximately 650km south west of Katherine, Limbunya is just 100km from the Western Australian border. The station has 521,883 hectares and a herd of 32,210 head of cattle. 

  • You will be performing water maintenance for our livestock across the station on a daily basis. It is a busy yet fulfilling position with the opportunity to learn other facets of cattle station life, including cattle work and general station maintenance such as fencing when not undertaking water maintenance duties.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring water points including dams, turkey nests, tanks and troughs

  • Travelling between water points in a 4WD vehicle

  • Repair and maintenance of bores, pumps and troughs

  • Other station duties as required

Job Requirements:

  • Current manual drivers licence

  • Experience maintaining water supplies in a remote location, servicing solar bores & small motors desirable.

  • Willing to perform other station duties as required (cattle work, fencing etc.)

  • Fit and able to handle the physical aspects of the role
