Job Description:

We currently have multiple immediate start, full time Station Hand roles available at Limbunya Station & Maryfield Station, NT

  • Maryfield Station: Just off the Stuart Highway with all weather, year round access, only a short drive from Daly Waters and with Katherine a few hours away to the north. Maryfield Station is located on 147,300 hectares and has 16,636 head of cattle.

  • Limbunya Station: Situated approximately 650km south west of Katherine, just 100km from the Western Australian border. The station has 521,883 hectares and a herd of 32,210 head of cattle.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Our Station Hands will carry out general station activities to support the daily operations of the cattle station. Duties will include:

  • Carrying out all day-to-day activities requested in a safe and efficient manner and following all site safety rules and strict animal welfare standards.

  • Cattle handling, mustering cattle using motorbikes and horses.

  • Capturing & collating accurate livestock data crush side

  • Feeding of livestock.

  • General cleaning and maintenance of water troughs, yards and fences.

Job Requirements:

  • Low stress livestock handling skills and commitment to sound animal welfare practices.

  • Experience operating a loader and tractor essential.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Current drivers licence.
