Our client is seeking an Experienced Overseer/Farm Manager to join their team on an Australian white sheep stud and fat lamb operation in the Northern Tableland of New South Wales. Our client is a mixed farming and grazing operation.

Job Description:

  • Full time - permanent position

  • 3 bedroom cottage with electricity and water included

  • Generous remuneration package negotiable depending on experience

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Duties will include sheep husbandry and processing of stock, animal breeding and management, maintaining accurate record keeping of animal feeding, repairs and maintenance of farm equipment, establishment and management of forage crops and improved pastures, general property maintenance and repairs including fencing and water infrastructure.

Job Requirements:

  • Essentially the successful candidate for this position will have a mixed farming background in addition to knowledge of land and meat sheep management practices. It may be necessary for you to work independently at times, work with the owner and other employees to complete your tasks.

Job Benefits:

  • A 3 bedroom cottage is available with electricity and water included. 

  • Several schooling options are within a reasonable distance on a weather-friendly road with school bus service available, as well as numerous options for High School.

  • A generous remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant, approximately $70,000 per year. 

  • Professional development and training will be provided, and our client is willing to sponsor a permanent resident pathway visa.
