Our client is seeking an experienced farm hand who is interested in furthering their career in the agricultural industry. The business is a family owned and operated, progressive, commercial scale sheep stud and commercial sheep enterprise that is located outside of Wellington in New South Wales.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be working with the family to develop the property. This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth in your role as the operation continues to expand.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of stud and commercial sheep production, movement and animal husbandry procedures. In addition, you will assist in the development of new water systems, fencing, pasture improvement, as well as general farm infrastructure projects including machinery operation for fodder cropping and pasture management.

Job Requirements:

If you wish to be successful in this position, you must have previous experience handling and working with sheep, as well as some knowledge, experience and skills regarding fencing, water systems, and water development. In addition to that, it is also essential to possess a high level of stockmanship skills, as well as possess a positive, happy attitude to work and life, have an open mind and excellent problem solving skills.
