Job Description:

Entering a well-established team, a skilled Diesel Mechanic is now required to manage the site’s preventative and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring all machinery and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

In addition to the duties mentioned above, your responsibilities will also include:

  • Performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs across the site's fleet of machinery, consisting of:

  1. Telehandlers

  2. Tractors

  3. Graders

  4. Dozers

  5. Trucks

  6. Bores

  • Managing spare parts inventory and conducting regular stock takes

  • Coordinating external contractors for all specialty servicing requirements

  • Maintaining a clean workshop and safe working environment

  • Ensuring an accurate recording of all maintenance activities are met

Job Requirements:

Our ideal candidate with have had previous experience with farming/civil machinery, and quality welding/fabrication skills. With strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to self-manage/prioritise workloads, it’s important you can address the following criteria:

  • Relevant Mechanical trade-qualification (Highly Desirable)

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external contractors

  • Strong fabrication skills and understanding of hydraulic systems

  • Ability to perform maintenance on site's fleet of Prime Movers (Desirable)

  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing work environments and requirements

  • Full Australian working rights (Essential)
