Job Description:
Opportunity to grow and learn as a Jillaroo/ Cook in Northern QLD Cattle station Carpentaria Downs
Located 40kms from Einasleigh township (QLD), we are looking for an organised, self-starting and outgoing person to take on the Cook role in the kitchen to provide hearty meals.
We would like the right person to also have the opportunity to be involved with as a Jillaroo in the stock crew with duties that include lick runs, yard assistance and pastoral maintenance when time permits.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Cooking for a small team of 6 and between 10-15 during mustering season with assistance.
Station hand duties such as lick runs, yard assistance and pastoral maintenance when time permits.
Job Requirements:
Experience cooking for a team of people is preferred and a passion for cooking is essential.
Attention to detail and keeping a clean and organised kitchen
High enthusiasm and motivation
A love of the bush and the beef industry
Experience working livestock is preferred but not essential
