Job Description:
Our cooks prepare breakfasts, lunches, dinner and 'smokos' for around 5-7 staff members depending on the time of the year and contractors.
We are looking for someone who is looking for flexibility in hours, and have the ability to plan, organise and execute a menu that will adequately and nutritionally look after our crews.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to
Work flexibly to accommodate meal times, meaning being highly organized is key
experience or ability to plan meals in advance
Ordering of kitchen consumable and ingredients in conjunction with the Manager.
Enjoy shaking things up with overnight cook ups, fire pits, BBQs or spit roasts or even the odd wood fire pizza
Outside of this, your time is your own, you may be an avid gardener, enjoy animal husbandry or love of a bit of hiking, fishing camping or photography and we can vouch that we have some of the best sunsets in the world right here in our back yard.

Job Requirements:
Our station cooks are the most important role at our stations, good food brings our little community together and is the hub of the station.
Depending on size you may have an offsider who assists at times in preparing and baking throughout the busy periods.
So if you are someone who enjoys the appreciation that comes from full bellies this role is 100% for you.
