Job Description:
As a Livestock Stockman/Farmhand, you will be based in our livestock department at Inverell site. You will support livestock operations across yards and paddocks with a hands-on role at a leading paddock-to-plate agribusiness.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
This role provides critical day-to-day support to the Livestock Supervisor across both stockyard and farm operations. As a Livestock Stockman/Farmhand, you'll assist with handling and monitoring cattle, maintaining infrastructure, feeding routines, and general property upkeep. It’s a hands-on position suited to someone with practical cattle experience and a commitment to animal welfare, safety, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Handle, move, and draft cattle safely in yard environments
Monitor cattle health and report issues to the supervisor
Support feeding routines and infrastructure maintenance
Operate equipment including tractors and side-by-sides
Maintain paddocks, fences, and follow safety procedures
Job Requirements:
At least 1 year of livestock experience (yard work preferred)
Demonstrated commitment to animal welfare practices
Ability to work in physically demanding, outdoor conditions
Good time management and organisational skills
Experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to follow safety and biosecurity procedures
