Bonney Downs Station is a large-scale, family-owned farming operation located in Western Australia's. Two large cattle stations in the Pilbara support this business with cattle carted down for fattening on other properties in the Mid West. There are 4 farms at this location where wheat, canola, barley and oats are grown. There is also a large hay program to compliment our cattle production.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Cropping Manager to join part their team based in Warradarge (2.5hrs north of Perth), Western Australia.
This is a full-time role that will play a pivotal part in the overall operations and success of the farm.
As Cropping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the property's cropping operations, ensuring efficient and sustainable farming practices are implemented.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage the planning, implementation and monitoring of cropping activities across the farm
Oversee crop selection, planting, fertilising, spraying and harvesting to maximise yields and profitability
Liaise with agronomists and other experts to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices
Ensure all farming activities comply with relevant legislation and industry standards
Manage and develop the cropping team, providing guidance, training and performance feedback
Monitor and report on cropping budgets, productivity and other key metrics
Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the farm
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior cropping management role, preferably within a large-scale broadacre farming operation
Demonstrated expertise in crop selection, soil management, pest and disease control, and sustainable farming practices
Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and stakeholder management skills
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret financial and operational data
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team
Willingness to reside in the local Warradarge area.
