Waterloo Station encompasses 1895 sq. km in the Victoria River District which runs up to 25,000 head.

Job Description:

We are looking for Gardener/ Cleaner to join the Brett Cattle Company Team at Waterloo Station.  Role includes the following duties as listed below – this role is very relaxed and may suit an older person / pension or student that may be studying and want station life and doesn’t want to be in stock camp. 


This is not a fast paced job by any means. The role schedule is flexible and would consider that the work days could be turned into half days if someone didn’t want to work full time.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Feed poddy calves 

  • Remove rubbish and recycling

  • Clean all paved areas by blowing and washing verandahs

  • Gardening – mowing, whipper snipping and weeding

  • Turning on automated sprinker system

  • Clean homes and bathroom buildings with eye for detail.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with cleaning, mowing and basic gardening preferred

  • Fitness to safely undertake the physical aspects of some of the work required

  • General station duties detailed above are undertaken with a continual clean and tidy manner
