Job Description:
We are currently seeking an R22 Helicopter Pilot for the Natal Downs aggregation.
The Natal Downs aggregation is located 130km south of Charters Towers in Queensland. The station brings together Natal Downs, Longton and Narellan to form our northern breeding group. These properties total 940,000acres and are running over 40,000 head.
The properties host an R22 that is required for frequent use.
This varied role will require a diverse skillset, with the ability to be efficient in aerial operations and work within stock team when required.
The estimated operating hours are 700 per annum.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Aerial cattle mustering
General aerial works including checking waters, ferrying people/ machinery parts
Ferrying helicopters for scheduled maintenance
Job Requirements:
A CASA Commercial Pilot Licence Helicopter – CPL (H)
R22 endorsement, with an aerial mustering endorsement
R44 endorsement is desirable but not essential
Minimum 500 hours of aerial mustering experience is desirable
A solid foundation of experience to handle livestock on the ground and understanding of northern cattle enterprises is essential
