Job Description:
CA is currently seeking a Membership and Sponsorship Officer, to join the team.
Candidates will have a proven track record in member engagement and communications, especially in relation to Australian agriculture.
The positions can be regionally based with the opportunity to negotiate flexible working arrangements and includes some domestic travel.
It is expected that the position will be based in the south of Australia.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO, the Membership and Sponsorship Officer will be responsible primarily for engaging with grass-fed cattle levy payers, growing the membership base, providing support to representatives of CA’s Regional Consultative Committee of and further developing the opportunities for commercial entities to partner with Cattle Australia.
The Business Development, Membership and Sponsorship Officer will:
Coordinate and support the activities of the Reginal Consultative Committee.
Grow commercial partnerships for Cattle Australia.
Engage with grass-fed cattle producers through events, social media and other means.
Coordinate and organise events and functions to support positive and interactive engagement with producers.
Grow the membership base.
Maintain and upgrade a register of financial members and sponsors
Engage with a wide variety of stakeholders
Job Requirements:
This role would suit a person who enjoys, engaging with a variety of stakeholders, has some relevant experience and is looking to build on this while working at the national level.
Proven track record in producer engagement, communications and sponsorship
High level organisational capability
A keen communicator
Passionate about progressing the interests of Australian grass-fed beef producers
