Job Description:

We are seeking a Station Couple to fill a long term role at Christmas Creek Station.


NOTE: This is a permanent position and not available to Working Holiday Visa Holders (Backpackers) or applicants seeking sponsorship from overseas.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Duties for one of the couple include:

  • Machine operation including grader driving, bobcat and loader

  • Mustering on 2 wheel motorbike

  • Checking waters and general machine maintenance

  • Fencing and station improvements


Duties for the partner include:

  • Cooking dinner for a small crew and keeping the kitchen clean and fridge stocked.

  • Gardening and cleaning

  • Mustering on 2 wheel motorbike to help out with stock work and other station duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Essential skills for one of the couple include:

  • Machine operation experience including grader driving, bobcat and loader

  • Previous stock experiance including mustering on 2 wheel motorbike

  • Experience with checking waters and general machine maintenance

  • Skilled at fencing and station improvements


Essential skills for the partner include:

  • Cooking dinners and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen,

  • Enjoys gardening and cleaning.

  • Able to ride a 2 wheel motorbike

  • Mustering experience

Job Benefits:

  • Generally Mon-Fri work with the exception to mustering and fire season or the occasional bore run.

  • 3 bedroom cottage included with wage for both based on experience.

  • All meals provided

  • Pets considered for the right applicants


As both are required to work, this role is not suitable for applicants with children unless they can attend local school.
