Job Description:

An opportunity exists for a full time Commodity Coordinator with Elders Killara Feedlot.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

As the Commodity Coordinator you will be responsible for grain & commodity receivals and have a varying day including:

  • Operate weighbridge for entry and exit of commodity & cattle trucks, including spiking of hay & grain receivals

  • Testing of grain receivals to ensure specification standards are compliant

  • Produce load lists and forward to vendors

  • Scheduling of Grain Trucks

  • Assist in monthly commodity stocktakes

  • Coordinate covering & uncovering of Silage Pits

  • Silo cleaning and rotation

  • Ability to operate plant including bobcat & loader

  • Monitor inventory levels in coordination with logistics

  • Assist the Commodity Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Previous feedlot experience would be highly regarded
