Job Description:
We are looking for a diesel mechanic with the relevant trade certificates and experience to provide efficient, cost effective and quality mechanical repair and service to all plant, vehicles and equipment.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintenance and servicing for all farm plant and machinery including heavy vehicles, light vehicles, earthmoving equipment, small engine repair (Kubota Engines), 2 wheel bikes, tractors
Repairs to plant and equipment in a cost effective way.
Assist with the spare parts inventory, including filters and tyres and following purchase order system for the accurate ordering of parts.
Taking pride in your work space and care of the environment with waste disposal.
Other duties may include:
General station/homestead maintenance
Ability to use MIG Welder, operate machinery mentioned above
Opportunity to undertake farm duties for cropping - i.e. Driving tractor
Job Requirements:
Relevant Diesel Mechanic trade certificates & experience
Have attention to detail, excellent work ethic, be clean, neat and tidy and above all must love remote living.
