Job Description:
We are seeking a senior livestock manager to join our team to assist with the leadership and day-to-day operations of our stud and commercial breeding operation.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
The Livestock Manager will manage the stud and commercial breeding operation and properties, in conjunction with the owners.
Job Requirements:
This is a great opportunity for a person who is passionate about working cattle, horses, and dogs.
The successful applicant(s) will have great care and attention to detail, show initiative and leadership and have ability to work large mobs of stock on own.
This is a hands-on role and suits energetic person(s) with the following attributes: care and attention to detail in all areas; proactive; organised; initiative; works well in a team and independently.
Skills: Leadership, organisational, livestock management and handling, cattle nutrition, experience with large mobs, working dogs, horses, fencing, property development, general property maintenance.
