Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and organised Administration Officer to manage all administrative duties for the feeding facility.


This is a permanent, part time (up to 30 hours p/w) role based at our state of the art feeding facility at Koojan Downs, near Moora, WA. 


**Share accommodation is available if required in nearby Moora**


Koojan Downs feeding facility is located 30kms from Moora and 160kms north of Perth.  Koojan Downs is part of the integrated beef supply chain for Harvest Road.  This integrated beef supply chain ranges from north to southwest of Western Australia and is based on best-practice ecological planning and animal welfare management.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Use of Stockaid, FY3000, plus extensive recording keeping, weighbridge commodity receivals, cattle receivals and cattle dispatch duties.

  • You will play a pivotal role to support the businesses systems and work collaboratively with staff and particularly with the management team to ensure that the day to day administrative tasks are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.  

  • You will also work closely with and manage the Administrative Assistant.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of administration experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to organise / prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, whilst working under pressure

  • Strong focus on safety, animal welfare and bio-security standards

  • Hold a current driver’s license.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.

  • Strong computer skills including MS Office

  • Initiative and problem-solving skills

  • Motivated and hard-working, willing to be part of the Koojan team culture.

  • Ability to work both alone and as part of a team

  • Mature and rational approach to problem solving

  • Initiative - ability to take quick action when required and actively pursue opportunities to make further
