Harvest Road has an exciting permanent opportunity for an energetic Station Hand to join our tight-knit team based at Minilya Station in the Gascoyne region of WA.
This is a residential position.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
You will provide day to day support to the Station Management team in all aspects of animal husbandry and maintenance of station infrastructure and machinery.
You will be willing to learn and build a career, with a strong work ethic and passion to contribute towards and learn about the Northern Beef industry.
You will become an integral part of a progressive business, with a strong commitment to Australian Agriculture and always demonstrate commitment to safe working practises and animal welfare.
** Potential for available work for a partner completing a similar role or part-time domestic and/or cooking duties. Couples are encouraged to apply.

Previous experience with handling livestock.
Proficiency to handle a horse and/or motorbike.
A good fitness level.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Initiative and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
Motivation and be hard-working, willing to be part of the Harvest Road team culture.
Manual driver’s license.
The successful applicant will be required to pass a criminal history check and a pre-employment medical.

Training opportunities available including Certificate III in Rural Operations and Certificate IV in Agriculture.
