Job Description:
We require an Experienced Stock Person and Farm Hand to join Hayden Pastoral Company.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Experienced Stock Person (Based at Capella, working across other properties as required):
Mustering cattle in timbered country on 2 wheeler motorbike with 2-3 other musterers, plus helicopter used.
Maintaining fences and water facilities
Hay and Silage production
Farm Hand (Feedlot at Capella):
Making feed mixes for feedlot
Driving tractors/ machinery operation
Farming, silage and hay making
Maintenance of water troughs
Job Requirements:
Drivers licence is essential
Experience as a Stockperson is essential
Ability to work unsupervised
A commitment to safe work practices producing quality work.
Well-developed communication skills and good work ethic
Clean and sober habits
