Job Description:
An exciting opportunity is available for an adventurous on-site station cook to join the team at “Rawlinna”, a 2.5 million acre station with capacity to run up to 65,000 head of Merino sheep.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing homestyle and nutritional breakfast, lunch, dinner and smokos for an established team on working days.
While primarily based at the Rawlinna homestead complex and newly renovated kitchen / mess area, from time-to-time, the job will require you to be camped out with the crew.
A mobile kitchen van supports the camp with all "tools of the trade" provided, however you will need to be someone who is comfortable with the outdoors.
Job Requirements:
The position suits someone with a passion for cooking who is organised, plans well and with a keen eye for hygiene and safety.
An appreciation for rural and remote living is necessary.

A competitive rate is on offer, generous 6 weeks of annual leave with on station living costs covered and staff bonus structure.
Due to the remoteness of Rawlinna, on-station accommodation (single person quarters) at the main Homestead is provided with Telstra service available.
