Job Description:
Joining an established crew and working under an experienced management team, we have an opening for a station hand to join Rawlinna on a full-time, permanent basis.
Rawlinna Station lies 4 hours’ drive east of Kalgoorlie on the western side of the Nullarbor in WA. The property covers over 2.5 million acres with capacity to run up to 65,000 Merino sheep.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Some of what you will be involved in:
Mustering of sheep on 2-wheel motorbikes
Water runs – checking various dams, bores and water points across the property
Yard work and fencing
Various mechanical work including engine and small motor maintenance and servicing
Job Requirements:
The job suits those already working on a station and are looking for a new challenge, however we will also consider those with:
Good mechanical knowledge
Earth moving and/or truck driving experience
Trade experience
NOTE: Stock work is done on 2-wheel motorbikes, so you will need to have experience riding along with basic mechanics and repairs (or be willing and able to learn).

Accommodation is available at the property in comfortable, single-person staff quarters.
Telstra mobile coverage is available at the main Rawlinna Homestead and wifi is available at the Depot Outstation.
During the year, some camping out maybe required so worthwhile bringing your swag!
A competitive day rate will be offered in line with experience along with the immediate opportunity to further your rate based on your effort and performance in the job.
Due to Rawlinna’s location, it is advisable that you have your own vehicle for convenience, but public transport is available and easily arranged. Access to the station from Kalgoorlie is via a well maintained unsealed, dirt road or alternatively you can reach the station by heading north from the Eyre Highway if you’re coming from South Australia.
