Job Description:

We seek a career-minded Overseer, ideally with pastoral experience, for Bulgunnia in the NW pastoral area of South Australia. Located in the Glendambo region and with the homestead just 25 kms west from the Stuart Highway, this well-resourced property covers 309,600 hectares and runs up to 26,000 Merino sheep within 160mm rainfall country.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Overseer reports directly to the Manager. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day direction for of a crew of 5 along with managing livestock and ensuring property, plant and equipment are pro-actively maintained. 

  • As a senior member of the Bulgunnia team, you will need to offer a track record of leading, supervising and training staff with capacity to work autonomously or as part of a group. 

Job Requirements:

  • This position will suit a senior station hand looking to step up or a current Overseer looking for a fresh challenge on a large property.

  • As an energetic self-starter, you will have a proven ability to problem solve and use initiative.

  • Applicants will need to have an appreciation for rural and outback living.
