Wave Hill Station is located 450km South-West of Katherine in the beautiful and iconic Victoria River District of the Northern Territory. The property currently runs around 40,000 head of Brahman cattle across 2.9million acres of well developed, mixed country.

Job Description:
We seek an experienced Mechanic to join the team on a full-time basis for the 2023 season.
Well-developed and maintained property with outfitted workshop
Air-con accommodation and meals provided
Comfortable homestead complex with Telstra service available
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
The main responsibility will be to ensure the upkeep, servicing and maintenance of the station’s various plant and equipment ranging from Toyota Landcruisers to graders, road trains and trucks, motorbikes and various generators and gensets.
Job Requirements:
The successful person will be resourceful and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and be meticulous in their work. An appreciation for rural living will be necessary.
Previous station experience will be an advantage, but not essential.
