Job Description:
We are proud to be recruiting this excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Station Hand to make an impact and drive production outcomes. Knudsen Cattle is a family owned agricultural enterprise that specialises in producing quality beef sustainably.
Based at Rosehall, near Munduberra in QLD, you will be responsible for working on this property plus nearby agistment arrangements. Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a capable, “hands on” style. The range of duties includes being personally responsible for ensuring cattle for sale are drafted according to market specifications, managing compliance record keeping taking into account LPA and NLIS requirements, general livestock husbandry, ensuring cattle nutritional requirements are met, water and property maintenance, weed management, fencing and infrastructure repairs, mustering, property maintenance, and record keeping.
Job Requirements:
Experience in a similar sized enterprise of at least 2 years
2 + years machinery and or farm maintenance
HR truck licence well regarded
Well-developed computer and IT skills
Livestock skills
Tertiary qualifications are well regarded
Training with the Meat & Livestock Australia EDGE program https://www.mla.com.au/extension-training-and-tools/edgenetwork/ is well regarded
Trade Qualified ie. Mechanic, Boilermaker, Builder, Electrician well regarded
