Job Description:
Based at Cowl Cowl Station, we are actively recruiting for a Farm Hand to join our almond team, near the township of Hillston, NSW.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspect and repair and install irrigation lines, valves, drip and sprinkler parts
Assist in the maintenance of all bore/ pump usage
Assist in ongoing weed management including spot spraying
Harvesting of nuts
Vehicle and plant maintenance and operation
Provide assistance to contractors
Maintaining orchard hygiene and cleanliness
Job Requirements:
Experience in the operation and management of irrigation systems in a horticulture cropping environment
A firm commitment to working safely in team environment
Adaptability and flexibility to changing work environments and requirements
Ability to create solutions and problem solving
Attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member.
Organisational and time management skills
Open Vehicle licence
