Job Description:

  • MDH PTY LTD are recruiting for an experienced Mill Supervisor at Wallumba Feedlot near Condamine, QLD.


This is a permanent position and not available to Working Holiday Visa Holders. Long-term commitment (NOT suitable for 88 days).

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

As the Mill Supervisor, you will be required to report to the Feedlot Manager, supervising operations in a variety of tasks, including the feed mill, undertaking maintenance and machinery operation.


Duties may include supervising:

  • Daily preparation of commodities

  • Operating boilers and steam flake mills, preparing, batching, and delivering feed to cattle

  • Driving the feed truck for delivery to cattle

  • Operating the loader for loading commodities into the feed truck, operating machinery and adhering to all health and safety requirements and operating equipment responsibly and safely.

  • Diagnosing animal health with an emphasis on animal welfare, administration of the animal health treatments, and maintaining accurate daily records, such as data entry. 

Job Requirements:

  • Previous Feed Mill experience is a necessity.

  • Able to manage staff

  • Neat and tidy

  • Results Driven

  • Good time management skills

  • Cattle handling experience is advantageous

  • A strong commitment to animal welfare, health & nutrition.

  • Driver’s licence.

  • You are Q-Fever vaccinated or willing to be.
