Job Description:
We are currently hiring at Grassdale, which employs 110 team members and is licensed for 70,000 SCUs, making it the largest feedlot in Australia.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pen riding and livestock movements
- Drafting, induction processing and hospital treatments
- Data entry and accurate record keeping using specialist feedlot systems
- A strong focus on Workplace Health & Safety
- Facility Maintenance
Job Requirements:
- Have previous cattle handling and horsemanship experience
- Your own team of sensible workhorses and gear, with previous livestock and horsemanship experience preferred.
- A keen attitude, willingness to learn, ability to contribute positively to the team and embody company values.
- A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and ability to work a ten on/four off roster.
