Mt Ringwood Station located just 2 hours from Darwin, running Brahman cattle, is currently seeking a Station Cook to join the team.

Job Description:

This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing homestyle and nutritional for dinner for an established team on working days.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the evening meal for small team of 4-6 Station Hands

  • Some other prepared meals as required

  • Housekeeping of kitchen and dining area and another house nearby

  • Gardening -  generak tidying of garden around houses, palm fronds and moving sprinklers

  • Data entry and loading tags when yard and mustering work being done

Job Requirements:

  • The position suits someone who enjoys cooking and working outdoors (some cattle work during mustering season may be on offer), as well as keeping general living quarters tidy and in good order when required.

  • An appreciation for rural and remote living is necessary.
