The NAPCo Wainui Feedlot and Farm is located between Dalby and Toowoomba, has an 18,000 head capacity with a reputation for staff retention, tidiness and operational excellence with state of the art facilities. A 4,600 hectare dry-land and irrigated farming enterprise also operates on the property.

Job Description:
Join our growing team at the Wainui Feedlot, we have two opportunities to join our Livestock team as a Stockperson.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Day to day duties include:
Pen riding and moving cattle within the feedlot
Undertaking general livestock husbandry tasks
Drafting and processing cattle
Fostering animal health and welfare programs
Maintaining accurate records
Assisting feed teams and maintenance teams
Job Requirements:
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
Good horsemanship and livestock handling skills (must have own horses)
A strong commitment to animal welfare, health and nutrition
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
A willingness to learn and a positive attitude
A commitment to working safely in accordance with NAPCo's HSE policies and procedures
