Job Description:

We are currently in search of a skilled Field Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter to join our team in Katherine, NT.

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairs on diesel-powered machinery and equipment in field and in workshop.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, preferably in an agricultural or similar setting.

  • John Deere Agricultural Equipment experience is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and related components.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.

  • Valid driver's license and relevant certifications are desirable.

  • Work vehicle could be made available.
