Noogilla Cattle Co. operates Woodlands and Tartulla, a 35,000 hectare aggregation located on the
Maranoa River between Mitchell and St George. It is a self-replacing cattle breeding operation.

Job Description:
The role of the Working Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the herd and property under the guidance of the Chairperson of the Board. The position will implement the decisions of the Board in line with the company values. Additionally, the working manager is to communicate opportunities and challenges for the property with the Board that could grow or impact the business.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Animal health, welfare and management (mustering, processing, feeding supplements, etc.)
Property infrastructure maintenance and development
Lead the team, contractors and advisors to a positive and high standard in the management of the property
Adhere to and implement OH&S practices to ensure Woodlands stay within the legal limitations.
Land management and development, including weed management
Machinery maintenance and servicing
Communication with the chairperson / board with regular updates on the property and herd
Plan and action tasks and jobs for the week and month
Further build and maintain Woodlands reputation as a well-run commercial business and valued
member of the local community
Job Requirements:
Personal attributes:
Good communication, verbal & written
Shows initiative and is adaptable to change
Ability to work alone or within teams
A desire for continuous learning and self-development
A desire to become involved within the local community
Performance competencies:
Well organised and self-motivated
Experience in property management and animal husbandry
Experience with heavy machinery
Basic computer literacy (e-mails and Microsoft office applications)
Either have, or be prepared to obtain; a truck licence (HR or above), gun license and boat license
Job Benefits:

Accommodation on Woodlands in a 3 bedroom cottage with electricity and starlink internet included
1 beast for meat every 12/18 months (butcher fees at own expense)
