Northern Livestock & Agriculture is a family owned and operated business located in the NT. We are looking for a station couple to join our team. We are located 2 hours south of Darwin, NT in the Douglas Daly district.

Job Description:
You will be responsible for day-to-day operations at Ruby Downs working in a team and also individually, including, machinery operation and maintenance, animal husbandry, yard work and any other task required to operate a cattle property.
PLEASE NOTE: Not a Caretaker position, Feedlot / Cropping duties with some cattle work.
Full-time position available and partner’s workload negotiable.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Varied role between hay & cotton production, machinery operation and some cattle work.
Checking waters as required
Feedlot duties
Tractor operation
Clean troughs as required
Putting out supplementation
Maintaining fences to a high standard – including spraying regrowth
Muster cattle on quad bikes
Keep workshop clean and workable at all times.
Keep lawns mowed and house complex neat and tidy at all times
Job Requirements:
Essential requirements:
Previous work experience on a cattle or cropping property
Previous experience operating tractors and farm machinery
To have a high attention to detail
To be mechanically minded
Both applicants to have driver’s licenses
To be of sober habits and know that drugs are not tolerated.
To have clear communication skills, follow instructions and work autonomously and within a small team environment
To have an honest and reliable work ethic with a vision to stay long-term within our team
Salary dependent on experience
