Job Description:

  • Off Grid Electrical Installation are seeking for Off Grid Electricians for remote work throughout the NT. 

  • If you are looking for a change, our business operates from Darwin into the most remote parts of the Northern Territory. Places you dream about!

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project Management

  • Leading Hand

  • Principle Contractor of Numerous Jobsites

  • Site Supervisor

  • Installation and Commissioning of various Electrical installations

  • Lightning Protection Systems –  Installation of protection systems or Testing of existing systems

  • Stand Alone/Hybrid Solar Systems – Audit testing, Installation and being a part of the OGEI installation team

  • DC Power systems - Telstra, Off Grid, Defence

  • Generator Testing & Installations

Job Requirements:

  • You must be physically fit, this type of work involves heavy lifting.

  • Must be a qualified A grade electrician, off grid experience preferred.

  • Pay is based on experience etc. we do pay well above award wages.

  • Drivers Licence

  • Sleeping in swags will be required, and camp out cooking over open fire as required - you will be sleeping under the stars on some jobs.

  • An interest in fishing, camping, helicopters, hunting, indigenous culture and the Australian outback.
