Job Description:
We are seeking a leader experienced in the feedlot and cattle industry to manage our expanding feedlot located 100kms west of Moree, NSW.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Cattle nutrition, livestock performance and ration production
Induction and animal health
WH&S and regulatory compliance
Livestock data systems
Stock and inventory control
Staff and contractor management
Machinery and site maintenance
Assist in feedlot expansion to 10,000 head (currently at 4,000)
Job Requirements:
Excellent feedlot industry knowledge with operational understanding
Knowledge of livestock behaviour, habits and animal health
Analytical skills
Advanced skills managing teams in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills, ability to change priorities to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
