Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced full-time suitable candidate to fill a station hand role on a large-scale cattle property, in regional NSW.
You will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of our cattle operations.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Property Manager, the position of station hand performs a variety day-to-day task, that will include but are not limited to:
Light cattle work
Maintaining fences and general station work
General station work may include, but is not limited to water runs, feed mixing, spraying & tractor operating
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a reasonable level of experience in the above mentioned tasks and be willing further develop their skills and experience within this role.
Requirements:
Must hold a current Driver’s License
Ability to work unsupervised
Good communication skills.
A strong commitment to attendance and punctuality
The ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards.
Fitness to safely undertake the physical aspect of the role
Favourable Skills:
Experience with cattle handling
HC license
Tractor and dozer experience
