We are seeking experienced Station Hands for Yarrie Station.
Required skills include horse riding, stockmanship, cattle records, future leadership role and landcare.
Your duties will mustering (on horseback), yard work, weaner handling/work and all general station duties.
We prefer applicants with an interest in future leadership roles in a long term role (we offer 3 year development programs).
Outback Beef's Yarrie Station is a 250,000-hectare rangelands property situated north of Marble Bar in Western Australia. The station is made up of the mighty De Grey River and her grass-covered floodplains with rolling hills of spinifex and acacia. With deep, mineral rich, ancient soils and breathtaking hills full of secret water holes and gorges...quite simply the station is a bloody beautiful to behold!
Working cattle, including mustering on horseback and yard work.
Horsemanship skills and shoeing
Landcare and biodiversity monitoring
Cattle records keeping (excel skills needed)
Help in our branded beef sales
Mechanical & infrastructure jobs
Basic Homestead care and maintenance
Operating machinery
Fencing
General repairs and maintenance as required
Passion & commitment in the northern cattle industry
Long term employment
