This position is for a Station Hand to assist a family in the day to day running of our property, Allensleigh.
You must have 1 year minimum station hand experience to apply for this role.
We are a small operation and require one Station Hand only. This role would suit an experienced person travelling with a partner who is not looking for employment on the property.
Allensleigh is a 24,000ha breeding, back-rounding and agistment property.
The station is 120km North of Charters Towers/ 190 km West of Townsville.
General station duties including, fence, yards, buildings and waters repairs and maintenance.
Cattle management including mustering on two wheelers. Tailing weaners, draft, brand, treat, truck and receive.
New fencing
Putting out cattle supplement
Weed control
Be physically fit
Current drivers licence and own car
Have 1 year minimum station hand experience
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be reliable and punctual
Be tidy and respectful of WHS policies.
Private, self contained, air conditioned 2 bedroom cottage.

Couples are welcome, however only permanent work for one employee.
