We require TWO experienced and motivated Livestock Hands at our Kintilloch Feedlot near Roma, QLD. This is a permanent position and not available to Working Holiday Visa Holders (Backpackers) or overseas candidates. We prefer long term candidates only.

The Farmhand & Feed Person supports the day-to-day operations of the feedlot, focusing on livestock care, feed preparation, machinery operation, and general farm duties. This role ensures cattle are well cared for, fed accurately, and the feedlot is maintained to a high standard.

We are looking for a farm / feedlot hand to join our team.  This is a varied and hands-on role which will give you the opportunity to increase your skills across a diverse range of areas. You will be involved in all aspects of the operation including operating the feed mill, cattle work, cropping, and various tasks including general infrastructure maintenance. The Livestock Hand (Casual) at Gracemere Saleyards, 8kms west of Rockhampton, undertakes various tasks in the support of livestock sale day activities and provides support and assistance to the Business Manager in the day to day operations of Regional Livestock Exchange or sale yard facilities. The role will work closely with the Site Manager and other team members to support the smooth operation of the yard, especially during livestock sale events. This role can be performed with the use of your own horses. This role offers a dynamic work environment where your skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to the efficiency and safety of our operations.  This position is available to Working Holiday Visa Holders (Backpackers) with right experience.
