As Head Stockperson, you’ll play a key role in station operations—leading the stock camp, building capability within the team, and ensuring day-to-day activities are carried out safely and efficiently. You’ll oversee livestock handling and welfare, drive training and assessment through our Operational Skills Framework, and maintain compliance with company policies and performance standards.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Machinery Operator and Homestead Helper/ Cook to join the crew at Dry River Station near Katherine, NT to start towards end March 2026. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Operating experience on one or more of the following: Caterpillar 140G Grader and D7R Bulldozer or 966 Loader Couples or singles applications welcome. Please note these are two separate roles.

KD Rural is seeking a station mechanic to join our team for 2026. You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a wide range of station vehicles and equipment including: Toyota Landcruiser's Motorbikes Machinery including graders, loaders, tractors and generators Kenworth Trucks Cattle Crates & Flat Top Trailers Being able to work independently and problem-solve in a remote setting is crucial. Duties include diagnosing mechanical faults, carrying out preventative maintenance, conducting breakdown repairs in workshop and field settings, and managing tools and parts. The role requires strong mechanical skills, the ability to work independently in remote conditions, and a commitment to safety and station productivity.

KD Rural is looking for an MC Driver to join our team for the 2026 season carting cattle throughout NT with some interstate work into SA, WA and QLD.  Drivers must: Carry current MC Licence Clean, Tidy & Organised Happy to get a Driver Medical done Must have 2 work related contactable references
