Mort&Co Feedlot

Mort & Co is Australia’s largest privately-owned beef cattle lot feeding, management and marketing company and a leading exporter of premium Australian beef. Our Grassdale Feedlot, just south of Dalby, has recently undergone a major expansion, making it the largest in the country.


We are looking to welcome some Livestock Hands to our Movements Team. If you would like to be part of a dynamic team in the agricultural industry, we would love to hear from you!

Functions:

  • Drafting, processing and livestock movements. 

  • Data entry/processing and accurate record-keeping using specialist feedlot systems. 

  • Pen riding and hospital treatments. 


Requirements:

  • Your own team of sensible workhorses and gear, with previous livestock and horsemanship experience preferred.

  • A keen attitude, willingness to learn, to contribute positively to the team and embody our company values.,

  • A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and ability to work a ten on/four off roster.
