About the job

Harvest Road Group is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Minderoo Station in the West Pilbara near Onslow. The core responsibility of this role is to service and maintain all plant & equipment ranging from bikes & vehicles to earthmoving equipment & a small road train fleet. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Servicing and repairs of all station equipment including, light vehicles, plant, earthmoving and Roadtrains. 

  • Maintaining the maintenance program for all station plant and machinery. 

  • Managing the spare parts inventory including ordering of parts and equipment as required. 

  • Maintaining an efficient and safe workshop. 

 

About you:

You will be an experienced Mechanic, who is self-motivated and willing to relocate to a semi remote and rural environment (this is Not a FIFO role) and work within a tight, well-supported and team driven environment. 

Essential Criteria:

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - HD Diesel Mechanic / HD Diesel Fitter 

  • Valid driver's license/and or Road train licence will be regarded as an advantage

  • Good diagnostic skills 

  • Good communication and record keeping skills. 

  • Ability to pass a police and medical checks

  • Recent relevant experience working on trucks and earth moving equipment

  • Attention to detail and ability to be a self-starter.

  • Possess adequate fitness for the role
